Round Table: An International Perspective on the Death Penalty
Are you ready to speak up about Human Rights?
The death penalty is a violation of the right to life and the right to live free from torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment, both protected under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Moreover, it is often discriminatory and still applied to people younger than 18.
ELSA Romania is hereby presenting you with the first edition of the Round Table: An International Perspective on the Death Penalty.
This event aims to bring together at most 10 participants from different countries, in order to discuss this concerning issue. It will be moderated by an expert, who will be providing each participant a sub-topic to research beforehand, in order for the event to reach its scientific purpose.
